To the editor:
I just came from purchasing batteries for my hearing aids. I was not allowed to enter the store. I am in my 80th year and had to stand out in the cold, damp weather in order to purchase them.
What kind of craziness is this?
COVID-19 has killed 0.04 per cent of Canada’s 38 million people. How many people have died because 200,000 surgeries have been cancelled? How many people have died because cancer treatments were cancelled? How many people have died because they lost their jobs and committed suicide? How many have ruined their health due to loneliness, anxiety and despair, etc.
Lockdowns are responsible for all these deaths.
The harm lockdowns do should be taken into consideration. Stop the lockdowns.
